MAJOR SUBDIVISION

A Major Subdivision is the division of a property that does not qualify for an exemption survey and will result in the creation of six or more lots from the parent parcel since 2003. If no divisions have happened on the property since January 1, 2003 and you want to split the property into six or more lots you will have to go through the Major Subdivision process. If divisions of the property have happened after that date they do count against this total.

Services Included are field work, drafting and computing, pre-plat application, environmental assessment, attending Planning Board and elected official hearings, application fees to the local government, final plat filing document, securing and coordinating the completion of conditions, final plat application, elected official approval, and the filing of the final plat.
